Dr. Kelly - Auburn Equine

Dr. Kelly Torrisi

Dr. Kelly completed her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University, then went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Washington State University in 2007. She completed an internship focusing on reproduction (theriogenology) at Oklahoma State  University. She later completed a second internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall California in Medicine and surgery. She practiced in Northern  California for a few more years before settling into the Auburn area and working for Dr. Larry Goss at Animal Medical Center Large Animal Services for 5 years before he retired and sold the practice to Dr. Kelly. She is excited to continue the excellent quality of care for the horses and clients in the Auburn area foothills.

Dr. Kelly enjoys horseback riding, and has shown in Pony club as a young adult. She rejoined Horsemasters (adult Pony Club- Gold Country Pony Club) after becoming a veterinarian. She has ridden most disciplines and respects them all, but has found her joy in 3-Day Eventing. She also enjoys crochet and ballroom dancing with her husband.

Dr. Kelly has had some incredible horses over her time as a horsewoman. Currently she is leasing horses until she finds that special one in the future. She has 2 cute cats, Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie at home.

Dr. Anne - Auburn Equine

Dr. Anne Williams

Dr. Anne attended UC Davis for undergraduate and obtained a BS in Animal Science with an emphasis in equine industry. After a year of
gutting homes in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina she returned to UC Davis. During vet school she tracked Large Animal, and in 2011
she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her first employment was an internship during the foaling season at a Thoroughbred
breeding farm in New Zealand. After returning to the States she moved north to Alaska where she continued to practice equine medicine and
gained an appreciation of the California sun. Eventually, she moved to the Auburn area and has been loving practicing in the foothills with
wonderful clients and patients. In early 2018, she became certified in chiropractic (animal spinal adjustment) with the American Veterinary
Chiropractic Association.

When not treating patients, Dr. Anne spends her time raising her two young daughters. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, singing, and of
course, horseback riding. In the past she has competed in upper level Dressage and goes trail riding any chance she can.

Dr. Lily Elder - Auburn-Equine

Dr. Lily Elder

Dr. Lily Elder grew up on a small farm in the Monterey Bay area raising 4-H poultry and dairy goats and spending as much time as possible volunteering/riding at the local therapeutic riding stable. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Humboldt State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. She then returned home to California to complete a rotating internship in equine medicine, surgery, and sports medicine at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA. Her professional interests include lameness and sports medicine, diagnostic imaging, reproduction, and preventative care.

Outside of work Lily enjoys exploring this beautiful area while engaging in outdoor adventure activities of all kinds with her partner Dylan as well as working out, playing violin, cooking, reading, and cuddling with her cat Delmar.

Keri Ann - Auburn Equine

Keri Ann

Keri Ann is the office manager here at Auburn Equine and has been with the team since 2016. When not at the clinic, she keeps herself busy working on her art and spending time with family and friends.

She shares her home with two dogs, Sophie and Bella Roo, and three cats, Molly, Calipso, and Garbanzo Bean.

After retiring from the city of Lincoln, Kim decided to come and join the team here at Auburn Equine. And we are happy she did! She has been here since 2019 and says it’s her dream job.

Kim loves trail riding with her horse Reezy, hiking with her
dog Jake, and spending time with family.

Bryttany - Auburn Equine

Bryttany

Bryttany has been working at Auburn Equine since 2017. She began as a receptionist and quickly became a great help to the veterinarians out in the field, and is now in great demand. Bryttany is currently getting her certificate to become a certified Equine Assistant.

She loves to go riding every chance she gets, but is usually kept busy, when not at the clinic, by her young son, her dog
Kylie and Dale the cat.

Allison - Auburn Equine

Allison

After retiring from high tech, Allison was looking for an opportunity to work with animals. What better way to do it than to work with the clients and staff of Auburn Equine! Allison joined us in July and is already fitting in with the team.

Allison takes care of an extended menagerie of horses, cats, and a dog in her free time. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.

Haley - Auburn-Equine

Haley

Haley started at Auburn Equine this year after graduating with her B.S in Equine Studies. She previously worked at a riding facility for 6 years leading trail rides, teaching lessons, and running summer camps.

Haley spends most of her time going on trail rides with her horse Amir, walking her dogs Laikyn and Zola, or having cozy time at home with her cat Oakley. She loves to go on adventures with her family and just got married in October!

Tabitha - Auburn-Equine

Tabitha

Tabitha has been working part time at Auburn Equine intermittently since 2020, but joined the team full time in 2024. She started her career as a technician in a sports medicine and surgery practice where she worked for the last five years before joining the team.

Tabitha lives on a third generation family livestock and dairy goat ranch and spends most of her free time caring for the animals with her family, or going on adventures with her horse Scout and her dog Dixie. Tabitha and her husband Clay are also excitedly awaiting the arrival of their twin babies expected December 2025!
